I want to be a part of a church where everyone feels at home. I want people to be cared for, discipled, challenged and encouraged. I want everyone to be valued, everyone to serve and everyone to contribute. I also want a church where there are no problems, there’s no angst and no pain. I want everyone to find friends and to find their best fit, I want kids to be happy, relationships healthy and everyone to prosper. I want a lot of things! I probably won’t get a lot of them but will do my best to contribute to the outcomes I want because I think God also wants many of these same things too. What does God expect of me? Well I think he wants me to be more tolerant, more patient, more loving and more generous. I also think he wants me to focus less on what I want and more on what he wants! 2012 is going to be a great year; pray for it and take proactive steps to make it special for all around you.
